The RHL multiplier
For 2026/27, England has separate multipliers by rateable value band: 49.9p in the pound below £51,000 RV, 43p (the RHL rate) between £51,000 and £499,999 RV, and 50.8p at £500,000 RV and above.

In Wales the standard multiplier is 0.502, rising to 0.515 above £100,000 RV, with no separate hospitality multiplier — Welsh hospitality support instead comes through the 15% Food & Drink Hospitality Rates Relief and the multiplier change due in April 2027.
