Our surveyor partner
We're in the process of choosing a RICS-regulated rating firm to work with. This page will name them, and their fee, as soon as terms are agreed.
We're a bar owner's information site, not a surveyor. If you send this form, we may pass your details to a RICS-regulated rating firm we work with, who will contact you. They would pay us if you instruct them. You can check your valuation yourself free on the Valuation Office's service. No one can guarantee a reduction.
We haven't signed a partner firm yet, so there's no name to give you here. Once we have, this page will state: the firm's name, their RICS registration, what they charge, what we're paid if you instruct them, and how to check their credentials independently on the RICS regulated-firms register.
What we're looking for
- RICS regulation, checkable on the public register
- Written terms that meet the Rating Consultancy Code's minimum contents, including a signed no-guarantee declaration
- No fee charged on a reduction that produces no actual cash saving — this matters most for capped English pubs, where a successful challenge can still save nothing once the caps and reliefs are applied
- A named contact who will give an honest "no case" answer, not just a sales pitch
